Una scelta piuttosto inconsueta, perché da una parte riguarda un modello non più in produzione (le linee di montaggio europee della grossa <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">300C<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> – dove veniva prodotta negli stabilimenti austriaci <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Steyr<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> – si sono fermate nel 2011) e, dall’altra, interessa una vettura dall’immagine che richiama inequivocabilmente le <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">“highway” Usa<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">, pur essendo stata commercializzata per alcuni anni in <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Europa<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> ed essere stata frutto della <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">partnership fra<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> <\/span><b style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">Chrysler e Daimler – Benz<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> (la piattaforma è, appunto, Mercedes).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Esternamente, la <b>Chrysler 300C Crd Touring by HplusB Design<\/b> è stata oggetto di una operazione di <b>car wrapping<\/b>: ha ricevuto una esclusiva <b>pellicola vinilica<\/b>, in tinta “Electric Lime” e realizzata da <b>Arlon<\/b>, che si accompagna con il <b>carbon look<\/b> del cofano motore (componente ripreso dalla più sportiva versione “<a href=\"https:\/\/www.motori.it\/anteprime\/8891\/chrysler-300c-srt8-465-in-futuro-anche-lancia.html\" title=\"Chrysler 300C Srt8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Srt8<\/a>“), per rendere l’estetica della grossa “station” più vistosa e aggressiva. L’<b>assetto<\/b>, fornito da <b>KW<\/b>, prevede un set di sospensioni ribassate e irrigidite; i <b>cerchi Tomason TN1 da 10×22<\/b> montano <b>pneumatici da 265\/30 – 22<\/b>. Le carreggiate sono state allargate mediante l’impiego di distanziali da 40 mm all’anteriore e 50 mm al posteriore.<\/p>\n<p>La nuova livrea scelta per il corpo vettura sarebbe potuta bastare. Invece, la factory tedesca guidata da Michael Hibgen e Patrick Barth ha voluto fare di più, e regalare una decisa iniezione di <b>potenza<\/b> al <b>V6 turbodiesel<\/b> ad alimentazione <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motori.it\/glossario\/common-rail\" title=\"Leggi la voce di glossario\">Common Rail<\/a> di origine <b>Mercedes<\/b>, che di serie sviluppa 218 CV per una <b>velocità massima<\/b> di 230 km\/h e 7,6 secondi per toccare i <b>100 km\/h con partenza da fermo<\/b>. In questo caso, la ricetta è quella tipica del tuning “made in Germany”, vale a dire lo sviluppo di un <b>nuovo software di rimappatura della centralina<\/b> e l’installazione di un <b>intercooler<\/b> di maggiori dimensioni, oltre alla fabbricazione di un <b>impianto di scarico in acciaio inox<\/b> realizzato da <b>FG-Motorsport<\/b>.
